“Budding Bach” will be a free concert featuring select Baroque repertoire (both somber and spirited) as part of our 35th Anniversary Celebration of Bach in Baltimore. It will be performed by a Bach in Baltimore chamber ensemble, and directed & produced by Maestro T. Herbert Dimmock, founder and music director of Bach in Baltimore. The chamber ensemble performers will give a set of educational mini- lectures and demonstrations on the pieces being performed and their contemporary significance for the audience.

The event will be free and open to the public and is hosted by Roland Park Place in north central Baltimore City – whose senior residents and families will be the primary audience served. The concert will last approximately an hour and a half, after which patrons will have the opportunity to meet the musicians and Maestro Dimmock, as well as learn more about the rest of the concert season and upcoming educational opportunities.
