The “Dear Black Girl Project”, is a Visual Arts installation and community conversation designed around the narratives of black women. It is an alluring visual collaboration of images, quotes, embroidered African textiles and found objects curated in a space designed to facilitate safe and healthy conversations around being black and being a women in this world. This ongoing exhibition and event is meant for all people to attend to witness beautiful black women coming together to create their own narratives and witness shared conversations. It is a place of shared wisdom, healing, celebration of life, and most importantly honoring black women and their processes.
