Thursday, October 5th

Doors Open weekend kicks off the evening of Thursday, October 5 with a lecture at the Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Central location and a reception to follow at First Unitarian Church. The guest speaker will be Jessica Henkin, co-creator of Stoop Storytelling, a Baltimore-based live show and podcast that has featured the tales of more than 3000 people onstage.

Saturday, October 7

Launched in 2014, Doors Open Baltimore is the citywide festival of architecture and neighborhoods, hosted by the Baltimore Architecture Foundation. Doors Open Baltimore celebrates Baltimore’s architecture and neighborhoods, and encourages residents and visitors to explore the Baltimore. This year, 45 buildings, including homes, houses of worship, museums, makerspaces, libraries, factories, and everything in between, will participate as Open House sites for free drop-in visits Saturday, October 7. Many offer tours, demonstrations, and activities for visitors.

Sunday, October 8

On Sunday, October 8, guided tours in Baltimore City and County offer a deeper dive into the past, present, and future of some intriguing places.
