Garden Art Party: open mic, art-making, community gardening and fresh food potluck at Whitelock Community Farm.
This project is an iteration aiming to activate more of the community towards sustainability and village life. The village is our natural habitat where we are interdependent for survival and luxury. With inflation/price gouging at a historic high, drying up produce box giveaways etc. it is timely for mutual aid and to involve more people in growing food at any level. Participating in a plant’s life cycle tells a healthy and accurate story about how life and growth is cultivated through a balance of patience and effort. Food is medicine where our health is waning and healthcare prices are blowing up.
