Hot Art, Art Market
As a collective, one of our biggest goals is community building in the arts. Hot Rock Collective will be hosting a vending pop-up series featuring a variety of local, emerging and under-represented fine artists. This series of pop-up events is to build viewership among our artists, encourage return visits with family and friends, and build a reputation for the host gallery(s).
We are relying on this grant money to provide additional funding to our artists. Considering their time and effort for presenting themselves and their work to the public, we would like to ensure a positive financial outcome for our participants. Through this series, artists will be able to meet other participating artists during this event and find support in their community.
A final goal of having this event series will be to increase the public’s connection to local artists outside of Baltimore’s gallery scene, as well as give a chance of accessibility to build direct relationships with Baltimore’s local art community.
