A day dedicated to the Baltimore family. Children, men, woman can spend the day with KKI to learn about the rich history and culture of West Africa. Free dance classes for children and adults, free samples of authentic West African cuisine, storytelling section with a children’s craft corner. Baltimore will gain knowledge needed for their cultural journey. Dance classes will be taught by Master Dancer from Senegal, Tacko Sissoko and KKI’s own co-founder Jihan Von Hendricks. Drum Circle lead by KKI’s Musical Director Ayende Von Hendricks.
