Engaging scenes from new plays by area playwrights will be presented by directors and actors in a book-in-hand staged reading format. You will meet a man and a woman who fall in love just when Daylight Savings Time turns back time; witness a psychologist, an angry husband and an unexpected twist; understand why two sisters never agree on anything, including the mother they just buried; and empathize with a young doctor working on the first artificial heart while confronting the parameters of humanness. This is just a taste of the scenes to be presented.

The readings will be rehearsed, have movement, lighting, props and some costuming. For your safety, masking is required while inside. More information on Covid protocols can be found at https://vagabondplayers.org/. Please allow extra time for parking. Vagabond Players recommends the Caroline Street Garage on Caroline and Lancaster Streets. Paid street parking is also available on S. Broadway or Thames Street. For further information, please contact Kathleen Barber, treasurer@baltplayfest.org. The Free Fall Baltimore program is made possible by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts (BOPA). Free Fall 2022 is presented by BGE with the generous support of Atapco Properties, the Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) and Reyka Vodka. Thanks to the Vagabond Players for hosting the presentation. Vagabond Players is one of the original founding members of Baltimore Playwrights Festival.
