SUMMARY:Middle Eastern Music and Dance Workshop and Party
DESCRIPTION:We will teach Middle Eastern dance moves (Belly dance)\, and ex
 plain some of the history of the dance in America. There will be an opport
 unity for people to practice the moves to a live belly dance band. Dance p
 arty! There will be an emphasis on cultural awareness of the history of th
 e dance\, and also a focus on self -expression\, which is inherent in this
  dance form. All ages are invited\, though we will ask that children have 
 their parent or guardian present. Attendees can pre-register\, but it will
  be a free event\, and they will leave with some new dance moves\, more aw
 areness of Middle Eastern dance styles and hopefully everyone will benefit
