SUMMARY:Open Studio Activity at Arteasy
DESCRIPTION:Arteasy is one of Baltimore’s newest art resources. Located i
 n Federal Hill\, the studio is designed to serve as an informal hub for lo
 cal artists. We are dedicated to creativity\, community\, and making art a
 ccessible to everyone.\n\nEach event in our Free Fall series will include 
 a different primary activity for participants to enjoy. The precise schedu
 le of activities will be published in September\, but representative activ
 ities include:\n\n 	Journal Making: A hands-on introduction to the art of 
 bookmaking! In this beginner-friendly workshop\, participants create two b
 eautiful handmade journals—a Japanese stab-bound book and a classic sadd
 le-stitched style—using a variety of unique cover options\, including ec
 o-printed papers made from sustainably sourced Baltimore flora.\n 	Landsca
 pe Painting: Whether dreaming of fall foliage or wintery snowscapes\, part
 icipants will be guided step-by-step to create their own season-inspired m
 asterpiece in a fun\, relaxed atmosphere. No experience needed\, and all s
 upplies included.\n 	Clay Handbuilding Demo: One of our favorite mediums t
 o remove barriers for is clay. We believe everyone should be able to exper
 ience the satisfaction of building your own functional or sculptural ware 
 from the mud of this earth. Participants will be invited to a hand buildin
 g session\, as well as a follow up session for glazing and decorating.\n 	
 Kid’s Zone! A day for kids of all ages to come to the studio with their 
 parents to experience the joys of creativity. Crafts will be fall/hallowee
 n themed\, multi-media\, and engaging.\n\nEach session is led by a talente
 d member of the Arteasy community. Sessions will be free\, but registratio
 n in advance is required\, as space is limited to 30 participants per sess
