Presented by Point A Studio, “What If the Parks Dreamed Back?” is a workshop that treats the park as a living system and site of collective imagination. Rooted in futures thinking and participatory design, participants move through speculative design, narrative futuring, and light systems mapping to surface memories, name patterns, and co-create equitable, regenerative possibilities.
Through guided prompts and creative making, the group generates visual and narrative artifacts, aspirational maps, future notes, and micro-commitments that position parks as co-conspirators in community futures. Lived experience and community knowledge are centered as essential data. The resulting insights will inform public space design and stewardship within East Baltimore’s Eager Park.
